Netmon can notify your clients when their services are detected as failed. They can also be notified when the service is back up. This is a very pro-active way of letting your clients know you are already working on the issue. To enable this feature you need to configure a custom alert profile for your client. When configuring the profile, tick the 'Email alert to client' option. This will expand to allow you to design a html email which will be sent to your client when the monitored service changes status. The following is an example of a brief message that includes both up and down responses to the client. "Dear Client, The text between the $DOWN and $UP will be removed as appropriate. Multiple email addresses in the email address box can be separated by commas if you wish to alert several addresses to the issue.
