Setting up a pingdom test using Netmon

  Netmon offers a variety of different testing protocols/methods you can use to determine a server failure. One such method is the Netmon Pingdom plugin.

The Pingdom plugin will allow you to monitor a Pingdom test you have setup and when that test fails, this netmon test will also fail. This will allow you to reduce the number of tests you need to setup to use the DNS failover, Load Balancing and other advanced DNS methods with Netmon.

To setup a Pingdom test, you must first name the test, then select PINGDOM as the test type as shown in the screenshot shown below. You should then scroll down and input your Pingdom Username, Password and API Key. You can then click the refresh link and select your pingdom test you wish to use.
